lead exhibition and multimedia producer
USAID Frontiers in Development Forum
A 10,000 sq ft exhibition and symposium showcasing USAID's worldwide collaborations and contributions.
I was contracted as lead producer for the conception, design, production, and installation of this high-profile biennial exhibit, staged at USAID headquarters in Washington, D.C. I contracted a large team of artists, designers (including former students), fabricators, and installers, as well as traveled to produce original multimedia (photography, video, and more) content for the show.
Part of the content for the exhibition was generated by establishing an unprecedented traveling artists’ ‘residency,’ in which three artists were selected to visit and conduct collaborative workshops to generate images, artifacts, and testimony directly from the constituents of development assistance - for the sole purpose of ensuring that the voice of the people represented in this exhibition was centered.
